let's do this
Like the persistent Tim Robbins in Shawshank, I put pen to paper and wrote polite words to Santa asking for the new Siriusmo album. You see I've been a good boy this year- keeping up with the little tid bits I promised like recycling old yoghurt pots. I may not conform to an acceptable use of grammar all the time but I didn't think Papa Christmas would be this pedantic. Why oh why didn't you answer my requests Santa? I'm pretty sure these crummy pair of socks are NOT going to make up for the lack of Siriusmo getting released so therefore I am taking this kind gesture of milk and cookies back for myself. Except I'll still leave some carrots out there for your poor overworked reindeers. In the mean time let's enjoy the latest Siriusmo remix, a five minute industry that wants to stick two fingers up at this bloody freeze fest. Not happy, Santa.

Although let's all raise a cheer for Ellen Zocher, who I've chosen as the winner for the Diplo/Topman CTRL competition. You may have creeped me out a bit with the gushy stuff but you certainly got a few laughs with your space whore and third boob talk. I can appreciate the wild imagination. But thank you to everyone who participated, there were tonnes of great answers, and it was difficult to pick a winner. That difficult, it took me four days to do so. Take a photo for us Ellen!

Great! Thank you. Always can use more Adam Freeland. I was introduced to him at Cochella '08 in California he was the one DJ that stood out like no other. (excluding justice and aphex twin) then I had the pleasure of meeting him in New York and had a vinyl of the single Under Control he and his band members had no idea they were pressed it was funny so I had him sign it up. Very cool guy and strong British accent. Their performance was amazing. Go see Freeland when you can.

it's nice to see appreciation for Adam Freeland. and you're spot on about him being a sound person. i missed the chance this year to see the live band in London (will have to check it out if you say it's good) but i met Adam 2 years ago at Fabric and had a brief chat about "nu-rave" and "klaxons remixes". a very cool guy.
