left alone
An existence that still hasn't last a year, Lost Knives are one of the busiest bands in Manchester. Though the band haven't been around for too long, their sound as a band has matured vast amounts, making them sound serious and meaning business. They've got rid of the bad and improved everything good as you can see with their new tracks, defining drum beats and two vocalists in a track giving each song lots of different layers. I have blogged about them before (HERE)but since they have changed their name due to legal reason, that's now in the past and the future is all theirs. So far they have played festivals, supported bands such as Two Door Cinema Club and had their own Maida Vale session. Their new record Static could be their break through song. Full of seriousness and shuttered guitars, weaved through a kick drum rhythm. With lyrical content that allows you to make up your own story.

I always believe songs should be written about personal experiences, it gives the more character and the lyrics involved are generally great as you get all kinds of feels from the songs. To prove this point, give Left Alone a listen and I bet you can relate.

Although the Lost Knives music is very deep and as dark as a cave, it is still very easy to listen to, that maybe the reason why they got number 1 on Hype Machine last time we posted Lost Knives. Always believe the hype!
