call the bomb squad
It's pretty much safe to say that Malia and the UK's brainless bass junky DJs spoiled a large part of Crookers for us. Particularly for myself. But there IS light at the end of the tunnel with Phra and Bot keeping their heads firmly on some tech house shoulders. I won't lie, I have little expectations for their debut album, but rather I'm more focused on the few shiny moments we can still get. Take their track with Solo for instance? Some part of me aches at the thought of this not being released on anything other than a computer game. Or how about their collaboration with Soulwax? Well we shall see I guess but I sure hope they prove all us doubters wrong. There's always a place for party music.
