holding my head up
Whilst trawling through North Hykeham's one and only record store, sorting out a pile of 12" in ascending order from hot disco nymphs at the front to hairy chested Euro producers at the back, I eavesdropped on an intriguing conversation. Apparently I hear there's going to be a party between FUNKISM, Louis Louis and Rub A Dub Dub in a couple of weeks? Hosted by Decibel's very own Jay? I don't exactly know how big Mount Everest actually is, but I'm assuming this night is going to be somewhere up there on huuugeness. I got a text off Marky saying he's already ordered some Buckfast, Brandy and, errrm, let's say it's safer to leave this one to the imagination. In the meantime, here's a pretty damn excellent remix from the duo. It's like the soundtrack of a time when you were all trapped on a desert island being hunted down by lesbian trolls, but escaped via a few bits of wood and a extremely long shoelace. And then laughing about the whole ordeal on the way home. True story.
