this circle never ends
We running this let's go, I'm on a boat I'm on a boat, everybody look at me, 'cause I'm sailing on a boat. That's what I would be singing if I was actually on a boat. Instead we're sat by the quayside eating jacket potatoes and talking about how modern day pirates aren't quite as badass as their classic treasure hunting counterparts. Seriously, tracksuit bottoms and an AK47 just doesn't put the same excitement in our boots. Okay the rocket launcher strapped to the back of that mischievous Somalian is pretty monstrous but we miss the eye patch and cannonball days. So whilst we tuck into our dinner and discuss the demise of the pirate image, we're listening to new Diplo pon de remix. By reworking As Tall As Lions it's another attempt at genre blurring and in true Thomas Wesley Pentz style, it does what it says on the tin. Perhaps nothing more nothing less but it serves the purpose of providing entertainment during our evening shenanigans.
