i'm in love with things that work when they really shouldn't do. like, if you go to the beach and it starts to rain yet you still have a great time. perhaps you try something you hate which turns out to be something you like or maybe those films where they are so bad that they ultimately become the funniest you've seen in a long time. them sort of things. so really an
udachi dubstep remix of an
m83 brain child shouldn't work in the slightest. but it does. you may recognise udachi from his work with
tommie sunshine and
ac slater but you need not worry if you don't because this should get you into his cross atlantic wobbles. incidently you should definitely check out his original track "jellyroll" which i know has leaked but i'm not sure on the permission, maybe i'll ask him some time and try and share it with you guys. m83 has always been a sure fire favourite with me and his album last year was a masterpiece yet again. udachi picks one of anthony gonzales' creations and reworks it into a more club friendly slow burner which should be enjoyed with a bottle of corona.
DL:
m83 - we own the sky (udachi's dubstep rework) [mediafire]
m83 - we own the sky (udachi's dubstep rework) [yousendit]
this actually wasn't due to be shared but after the overwhelming good reaction towards it, udachi did a remaster of the edit with bigger drums and bass in addition to some finishing touches. definitely an excuse to request m83 now.
